There are many things to be said about the community that gathers together into a market that promotes and sells organically grown food. I will say, in such a place both vendors and buyers seem to bring something beautiful into the space which they choose to share. In the spirit of healthy eating, commerce, and the sharing of talents and ideas, it is easy to see the love that is brought to the table. It is in the spirit of this community growing and thriving throughout Costa Ballena and all of Costa Rica that VidaAuténtica brings itself into the service of the people in the pueblos of this beautiful region.
In 2016 the Pueblo Roots Initiative will be holding its ongoing organic agricultural and health courses in the pueblos of San Rafael del Norte and Dominical. Those courses will commence with an estimated 54 students whom VidaAuténtica hopes will become confident proficient organic farmers. Around the midyear, Vida will be hosting the 2nd annual Tinamastes Seed Sharing Festival just in time for the planting season. Vida will share seeds, host workshops taught by many amazing teachers, and offer much information about the importance of liberated seeds.
Vida will also be bringing “special guests” to the area to share knowledge that is truly important to the growth of a healthy lifestyle. As always, those at VidaAuténtica thank all of you for your support in these endeavors.
