Reviews about Vista Ballena Hotel
Here are just a few Reviews in Trip Advisor from our recent visitors:
“My favorite hotel in Costa Rica”
"For us, this hotel had it all."
"A great view of Ballena and the ocean, a perfectly placed pool for watching the sun go down or the toucans hop in the trees while you swim. Clean, nice rooms with comfortable beds, mini-fridge, A/C, and a balcony facing the ocean. The food is extremely affordable compared to other places around, and is to die for; we usually eat outside of hotels, but we got hooked on the food here and kept coming back for supper."
“The owners are a sweet, friendly couple and the staff is super helpful. We mentioned we were looking for a sloth, and that evening they came to find us to show us one by the pool. We also saw a kinkajou, an anteater, macaws, and toucans.”
“The hotel is also situated between several places to visit, including some amazing waterfalls, a natural waterslide, and waterfalls you can swim in. Also, you can admire the caves at Ventanas Beach, Marino Ballena National Park; most places are only a few dollars admission, nice and affordable for the budget traveler.”
“We will definitely be going back next year.”
“Room Tip: All rooms have ocean views”
“This hotel was recommended to us by a lady we met in Costa Rica, so we decided to give it a try. It is well worth the steep drive up to the hotel; there are a fabulous pool and a restaurant that look out over the sea below – it’s a spectacular view, and watching the sunset was awesome. What makes this place even more special is the friendly and professional staff who are all eager to make your stay comfortable. Rooms are nice with A/C and good beds – the view from the rooms is just as spectacular as in the restaurant area, and we even had a toucan sitting on the tree beside our balcony!”
