tides chart, Tides Chart South Pacific Costa Rica -Tides Chart Costa RicaThis Month's Tide Charts for South Pacific Costa Rica

Costa Ballena and the South Pacific offer you the best surfing conditions: sunshine every day, big waves, and a laid-back atmosphere and lifestyle. Especially Dominical has developed into a real surfers’ paradise – visit us and immerse yourself into Pura Vida!

For first-time surfers, Punta Uvita,  Playa Chaman has great waves to help you learn and get up on the board. For intermediate surfers, Playa Hermosa has great waves and for more advanced surfers Punta Achiote and Playa Dominical are consistent and locals’ favorite spots.

Dominical is the gateway and the first beach of Costa Ballena.  It has a relaxed atmosphere, and it is well known in the surfing world, a real surfer’s paradise.  If you are new to the sport, there are schools that give classes for enthusiasts.

The tides chart is one of the favorite pages of our visitors. It is important to know the ideal time to visit the whale tail at the Marino Ballena National Park and also useful for lovers of sports fishing and surfing.

The tide chart is information to navigate, but remember that weather conditions affect tidal ranges and current speeds sometimes very dramatically.

Much like our summer and winter seasons change, the seasons of big surf also changes. RAFAEL STEYNERS HAS THE RHYTHM IN HIS BLOOD!
