Blue Note Del Sur
“The Blue Note Del Sur” trio is integrated by Bédard Lyne, singer and guitarist, Jean-Luc Danis, bassist and voice, both are from Canada, and Vincent Resta, who came from France many years ago, is expert on percussion.
Jean-Luc tells us “we play a bit of jazz and bossa nova, and popular songs by artists such as Tracy Chapman, Norah Jones, and many others.”
How did you all come together to play and create this trio?
“We have known Vincent for about ten years, every time we visited Costa Rica as tourists, we got together and played our music in a couple of small bars. As soon as we moved and became permanent residents in Ojochal, we created the trio. It is when we started playing in restaurants as Citrus, El Fuego, and El Castillo.
Where will be your next performance? “We are proud to tell you that we will be participating in ’The Taste of Ojochal´ Festival on January 26, at Boca Coronado.”
