Ojochal, an Exotic Paradise

Ojochal preservation, nature preservacion pasión

When you visit the southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica you will recognize its extraordinary beauty. Be it Dominical, Uvita or Ojochal, each of the different communities has its own charm and particularity. These wonderful tropical lands signify for the inhabitants the paradise they longed for! It is an exotic Eden for those who seek to enjoy peace, tranquility and a life immersed in the exuberant tropical nature and secluded beaches. Due to its gradual development, the place is experiencing a kind growth for its residents. Thanks to the beauty of the area, together with the intercultural amalgam found in Ojochal, tourist visitation is steadily growing without altering the natural values of the town.

However, the growth of Costa Ballena increases continuously. New services and facilities are created, bringing improvements and amenities for its inhabitants. Health services, ATMs, supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants (Ojochal is internationally recognized as a culinary paradise), as well as various construction services, real estate and professional facilities (bilingual) are found in this small tropical town. Ojochal is a paradise for those who flee from a “stressful life” and seek the happiness of «pure life». Here the money is not as important as finding a purposeful existence. For example, you can envision a positive change and start collaborating for the protection of the environment, mitigating consumerism that pollutes our oceans and leads us away from our nature.

This scenic location is surrounded by exuberant forests of the Brunqueña mountain range. Change is tolerated only if it comes from nature, the rivers, and the ocean. The fortification by the mountains to the East and the Pacific Ocean to the West is responsible for giving the vivid colors and unique essence to this town of Ojochal, where all the different types of life forms unfold including that of the “Ojochaleños.”
