Kristjan Pärn

Kristjan Pärn, from Estonia, has been playing music for over 15 years. He started out playing the accordion; he then learned the guitar and composes. From 1997 until 2012, he was part of an alternative metal band, East Trading Wang and later on reformed under One Dollar Project. Their best known song would be Worm, which was picked up by Adam Sandler’s “Little Nicky” Soundtrack.

Recently arriving in Costa Rica, the impact of his travels can already be felt. Kristjan’s music is now becoming softer as he moves away from the alternative rock genre. He says “I’ve found inner peace, and I don’t need to scream my lungs out anymore.” His approach to music is to not take it too seriously (compulsively) and to let the music flow. He says he’s happy to be visiting our area and feels it’s really time to play, have fun, and enjoy!
