In 2006, Nego (Manuel Mora) from beautiful Dominical and Rachel Wirostek from New York started their venture Pineapple Kayak Tours and SUP. Both are avid kayakers, stand up paddlers, and nature lovers. They want to share their passion for water and nature with you, so you can get the best insight of Costa Rica during your trip.
Nego took up surfing at a young age and later became one of the best surfers of the Costa Rican National Surfing Circuit; he is a fully trained lifeguard. As a local, he knows every secret location, every point break, and every insider tip in Dominical, which enables him to offer you the finest tour experience ever.
Rachel was born and raised in Mahopac, New York. She graduated from Plattsburgh State University with a degree in TV Production and Mass Communications. She worked four years in the creative side of the advertising industry in NYC. Growing up, her family traveled the whole length of the East Coast of the United States, and all around the Caribbean and Mexico. She studied abroad for six months in London, England, and traveled throughout Europe. She spent summers at the white sandy beach in Montauk NY, where she met Nego.
In 2006, she moved to Costa Rica, and now her life completely changed. She feels blessed with this amazing opportunity of working in close contact with nature and being able to share her experience with visitors from all over the world.
