Last year, Ballena Tales Magazine achieved some significant goals. The magazine has now its own website www.ballenatales.com, a very easy page to navigate. All the information is there for you, like a one-stop-shop in three languages: German, Spanish, and English. We will continue printing Ballena Tales Magazine; however, if you do not have a copy with you, just go online!
The website is an ongoing project, if I had known how much work it represents, I´d have thought it twice. Fortunately, with the support of Matt, as web developer, Nikki, as project manager, Annika, a German volunteer in command of uploading all the articles and photos, and Hazel, responsible for the web design, we have created a strong team. Our efforts are already showing good results; people visiting our page stay on the site an average of 8-9 minutes, which means that visitors read the articles on all the different topics from Environmental to Local Culture, they take a look at the tide charts and bus schedules, and at the same time; they see all the rotating ads.
On the magazine side, we count with two important pillars, Philippe, our quality manager and creator of the exquisite design of the Magazine, and Yolanda, our dedicated proofreader.
Thanks to all the members of our team and their efforts, we have the opportunity to create and provide outstanding value for our community; we appreciate enormously our readers for their loyal following. Remember, you will always be able to find us online!
We wish you the very best for 2013!
