Claudia Langguth was born in Germany. When she was twenty, she moved to Paris, France to study Fashion Design. For several years, she worked as a fashion designer and was successful with her own production, exporting her exclusive models to Germany.

While she was in Paris, she took her first diving course with a PADI School. In Egypt, she concluded her training as a diving instructor. Thereafter, she began to travel around the world. She visited the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador, Peru, and Colombia. In the Amazon, she made contact with the shamans who initiated her in their rituals.

By a twist of fate, she arrived in Sierpe, where she fell in love with the magical waters of the Sierpe river, flowing upstream when the tide is high and downstream when the tide is getting low. She bought a house on the nearby Violin Island. She lived in the jungle for several years without any electricity, or telephone, recently; she had solar panels installed. Slowly, she returned to civilization, selling jewelry made by her in Sierpe.

Two years ago, she opened her international restaurant Kokomana, a romantic spot on the banks of the majestic Sierpe river. In her well-stocked gift store, she will tell you about the origin of the pieces she brought from her travels through Latin America. Claudia speaks Spanish, German, French, and English, and loves to advise her visitors. She believes Sierpe remains a precious secret!
