About Ballena Tales Costa Rica Travel Guide and Magazine

Ballena Tales Magazine and Costa Rica Travel Guide operates from Uvita in Costa Ballena and sees itself as a connector between Costa Ballena, OSA, the South Pacific zone, the rest of Costa Rica, and the world.

We are a multi-lingual and multi-professional team. We are proud of the stable and lasting relationship between Ballena Tales and our partners. Ballena Tales collaborates with national and international humanitarian and environmental groups.

Ballena Tales Magazine and Costa Rica Travel Guide - Overview

BALLENA TALES MAGAZINE since the 2008 year in Uvita (Costa Ballena, Costa Rica). Editor Dagmar Reinhard is a German lady, very much in love with this area of Costa Rica. She´d lived in other South American countries and is fluent in English, Spanish, and French; she built excellent relationships of trust and respect with all communities along the coast.

Costa Rican and foreign alike. Ballena Tales is a travel guide and magazine covering Costa Ballena in the Canton of Osa in the South Pacific region of Costa Rica. It is a fully bi-lingual, bimonthly, and full-color, glossy digital magazine. The magazine introduces the reader to the local community life with interviews of pioneers, writers, and artists.

You will find helpful information such as tide charts, what to do, events, restaurants, and hotel listings. Ballena Tales is very proud of its team of assiduous writers, appealing art design, and satisfied advertisers. Ballena Tales has a 5 Star Rating and 70% repeat customers. Ballena Tales is a free collaborator with the local Chambers of Commerce and Tourism, the International Costa Ballena Women´s Network, Escuela Verde, and public schools, environmental organizations, and other entities.
