It´s About TIME

By Pilar Salazar

A few days ago, I stopped everything I was doing and went for a run. I must admit I felt a little guilty about it. My ‘to-do-list’ was biglong, as it tends to beusually is; and devoting some time to appreciate life and be with myself felt inappropriate., but necessary.

SAMSUNG CSCThat day, I ended up at the beach, admiring an outstanding sunset, and then, I went back home to return to my worldly tasks, and life went on. Only with one thing was differentce, ; I had taken time to nurture my spirit, and now from that point on, my actions were coming from a different place.

I often think about the phrase “I don’t have time.” It is one of the most common phrases used by everyone. we use. But actually, I have realized how wrong misused that statement is, at the end; TIME is all we have.

The practice of Yoga brings us back to the present moment, into a natural state of continuous awareness to be able to realize that there are no ordinary moments; every present moment provides a myriad of experiences to appreciate and learn from. But our mind-set plays an very important role on this, if our attention is focused on only accomplishing our ‘tasks’ just to move to the next one, we are not fully living in present time. The present moment is a gift, and a miracle. It is entirely How you use this gift is up to you, how to use the this gift of TIME, and the gift of this present moment.

At the end, our lives are built with the result all these present moments, and reflect how we decided to live them.

Take time for yourself, take time to appreciate life, to and enjoy it, and take time to laugh, nap, play, listen, and to love. Take time to do all those things that nurture your soul.

TAKE YOUR TIME!
