Ballena Tales Travel Guide , Issue #47, March 15 – May 14, 2016

Ballena Tales Travel Guide, puravida, costaballenalovers, travel,

Dear Friend

If you are an avid reader of Ballena Tales Travel Guide you will note that we have included a new map that covers the route 243 between San Isidro to Dominical.

The news that our client, SANSA airline now flies San Jose – Pérez Zeledón is only the tip of the iceberg for more good things to come; see the interview with Don Fernando León.

Based on a Hindu tradition, on March 19 the first Holi Festival awaits us with a bonfire on the Dominical beach.

The magnificent river Barú hosts yoga classes on SUP (stand-up paddle) boards, suitable for practitioners of any level.

After the storm, calm has returned. The annual Envision Festival again brought thousands of visitors from all over the world to Uvita. All hotels, cabins and tour operators were booked out, and restaurants and supermarkets made excellent business.
We welcome the news that the organizers of Envision this year showed willingness to collaborate with the community; as a specific example see “Inauguration of the Uvita Bahia Youth Center (Casa Envision).”

The opening of the Pura Vida Gym in Uvita with the known coaches Maryori and Jesus fills us with great enthusiasm.

The Playa Tortuga turtle reserve writes about a Summer Club for children, who were fascinated to be involved in their scientific programs and learned a lot about environmental protection.

Sierpe is an excellent destination for fishermen, offering access to amazing daytime activities in the beautiful, winding river of the same name.

There are many initiatives that you can share, healthy and fun recreation options, and especially hospitable people and the pura vida lifestyle to be enjoyed in Costa Ballena and the South Pacific!

We hope you enjoy reading this Ballena Tales Travel Guide new edition.
