Envision Festival, coming back to future
Very Happy New Year to our readers and much-loved Costa Rica! Living in Pura Vida Land by itself is a reason to be happy, thanks to the kindness of the ticos, the beautiful sceneries, benign weather conditions, and generally positive vibrations. The equatorial summer has begun, the bluest skies ever embellish our days, and beaches and mountains invite you to discover their mysteries. A number of new hotels and restaurants have opened and geared up to receive visitors from all over the globe; the list of daytime and nocturnal activities is growing so long that oftentimes you don’t know for which to decide.
The digital version of Ballena Tales Magazine and the Costa Ballena Lovers Facebook page are now linked to our webpage, and will familiarize you with places and events and help you with your choice.
From February 23rd to 26th, Uvita will be hosting the 7th year of Envision, the biggest event ever celebrated in Costa Ballena. It is based on eight pillars: Permaculture, Spirituality, Movement, Art, Music, Community, Health, and EcoBuilding. Between the Sol, Luna, Lapa, and Village stages, there is an immense display of activities, from music to pyrodance, and jungle movement; there will also be art galleries, yoga, and workshops. “Costa Ballena has become our home since its inception in 2011.

A neighborhood council works together with the Festival’s organizers in order to keep a two way communication with the residents, so the mutual relationship works out in this space that we share. Discussing issues is part of the tasks; for example, the loud music, drug use, improve traffic conditions on the Costanera Highway, beach clean-ups, minors attending the festival, etc. Read more >>
Meanwhile, we are very happy that you are coming to visit us and are looking forward to seeing you around!
